The issue is to do with the ingame movies not playing friendly with Codecs. Some codecs try to interfere with the ingame movies and as such crash the computer. Unless Eve, Starcraft, Half life 2 (and episodes), TF2, L4D, Heroes of Newerth or WoW installed them then I havn't gone out to get them, just google K-lite codec packs and get them? Yeah. Nothing named FDDSHOW on my pc. I did, but the bethsda forum was not showing anything. Download the K-Lite Codec pack and install it for now, and then find fddshow on your computer, There should be a Video version with settings and you should be able to add an exclusion for the fallout process.
